Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Training Courses

The Solar PV training and assessment is designed to provide experienced electricians the necessary skills for basic design, installation, commission and service of Solar PV systems and deliver a certificate of competence to individuals who will self certify installations through NICEIC (or other Government scheme operators).

The PV course will cover the majority of small scale Solar Photovoltaic systems currently installed within the British Isles. It will also cover information required to design, install, commission, service and fault find. It is not intended to cover every aspect of every possible scenario. It will also not cover areas that form part of the main prerequisites.

City and Guilds 2382 (17th edition wiring regulations)
