Solar Domestic Hot Water The solar domestic installation course enables installers to gain the knowledge and skills required to specify, install, commission and maintain solar domestic hot water systems. The course requires candidates to have a good knowledge of domestic plumbing and heating systems. Ideally candidates should hold an NVQ in plumbing or trade related. Plumbers currently practising in industry who do not hold an NVQ or equivalent but have suitable experience can also undertake the course however achievement of the Unvented Hot Waters is required.
