Electrical Technical Certificate Level 2 - 2330

A two-year course combining training and assessment with students achieving certificates depending on abilities and previous experience.

. Daytime and evening classes are available.
. Intensive block programmes are also available

Course Content:

The course is structured to a wide range of learners with the hands on workshop activities and complementary classroom delivery.

The modules to be studied are: -

Unit 201
Working effectively & safely in an electrotechnical environment

Unit 202
Principles of electrotechnology

Unit 203
Application of health & safety and electrical principles

Unit 205
Installation (buildings & structures)

Practical exercises/assignments: -

Unit 204
Application of health & safety and electrical principles

Unit 206
Installation (buildings and structures)

Course Assessment:

After initial training students will be assessed through a wide range of practical tasks and multiple-choice test papers set by City & Guilds.

Entry Requirements:

The course is designed for students of either gender and is open to all ages. Students wishing to enrol can speak to the course manager to be advised of their suitability.

Students will be provided with materials and tools but to satisfy Health & Safety requirements students will require steel-capped footwear and overalls.

Recognition as a qualified electrician requires completion of a NVQ

Cost: £2,950.00 + VAT plus examination and certification cost of £170.00

Or

If a combination of both NVQ and Technical Certificate taken the cost is £4,000.00 + VAT, plus examination and certification cost of £300.00.
